Iv'e posted this today as yesterday's ESP experiments were a bit of a revelation. Some very interesting subjects (people) and alot of data to go through. One thing that was interesting is that of those who were very good at the experiment, 80% listened to binaural sounds before the experiment to clear their minds and relax. This of course will have to be factored into the experimental findings and will skew the results. It was an interesting finding though, And one that we will be including in the second round of our tests.
Binaural beats is basically a sound played through stereo head phones, the sound is split between the two sides, one side is a slightly different frequencey to the other and the difference causes a beat effect of the frequencey of the difference. This frequencey is associated with different brainwave patterns (alpha, beta, gamma, theta etc) and can achieve different effects such as better sleep, increased focus etc.
They do work but you should always use stereo headphones and not listen whilst driving. Try them out, see if it w
