1.
Are we alone in the universe? No, with the size and scope of the universe it would be unlikely that we are the only life in the universe. Meeting ET however would require huge amounts of energy, time and money and is therefore unlikely
2.
Will there ever be a cure for cancer? There already is! There is a virus that attacks cancer cells currently being researched, also other energy based treatments such as ultrasound.
3.
Does God exist? This depends on how you define "God". If you mean a person who has two arms and two legs and lives in a semi detached house next to jesus on a cloud, then no, obviously not, thats looney tunes! But if you mean a creative force, and energy that made us possable, an energetic conciousness of which we are part of, then yes a "god" exists.
4.
How big is space? The part of space with "stuff in it" is about 150 billion light years across. However if you mean the "void" then it is infinite.
5.
How and where did life start on earth? Where? Somewhere warm, moist and where the building blocks were able to react together to create the amino acids and protiens which were the beginnings of the earliest "life" that would take in amino acids and react with them to produce further versions of the protiens technicaly reproducing.
6.
Is time travel possible? Yes, astral projection via the power of entering a meditive state can allow us to see the future and past, also seeing the future in dreams is possable. Actually taking a "physical object" to or fro in time to interact in the affairs of that "Time" would be difficult and dangerous. Using wormholes and anti gravity would be a possability but the physical strain on the object or person would be the limiting factor. To go faster than the speed of light would have the same issue. Turning an object into massless information would be an option, and humans being as delicate as they are it would be more likely that artificial life forms would be more likely to travel in time.
7.
Will we ever colonise space? Yes, terraforming or using biodomes is the most likely way forward, however the expense, energy and travel times mean it would be unlikely unless we were to colonise an object that had some resource that could be mined. If there was no money, then a project like this could be achieved if we used the free energy model. You can guess though that with the current way our society works, there will be a war between earth dwellers and the off landers at some stage though. Sad really.
8.
What will replace oil and when? It should be one or a combination of free energy sources. Magnetic engines, solar collectors and many other devices are possable, but as always, the rich elitists want to control and make money from these resources. And they probably will unless we demand the release of these technologies.
9.
How will the universe end? It will cool, with energy being dissipated into the voids of space. As it cools and loses energy, gravity should then start to collect the objects together and form one mass. If this mass is big enough and collapses under its own gravity then there is a possability that the mass could produce a new big bang. It would certainly fit with the cyclical nature of the universe
10.
How long can the human lifespan be extended? Technically if the parts could be grown and replaced, or artificial parts could be made then the limitations are endless. If for example the brain could be uploaded to a PC and then loaded into a new brain and be transplanted successfully, then a human mind could be placed into a new "body" as part of a 50 yearly service. This body could be artificial or a biological, grown one. The Natural life span could be 100 to 150 years with good nutrition and lifestyle and some medicines. The questions should however be, is it right to do this? Just because you can create a cyborg, should you do it? And how would we feed this bigger, longer living population? what other consiquences are there?
There are other deeper and more important questions in life! Lets face it. But these are the ones from a survey of unawakened public people in the street. It would be interesting if we could get together a list of far reaching questions from the awakened masses. You can e mail ideas to [email protected]
