The most obvious one is the installation of cameras in the new TV's and games consoles. These cameras are supposed to allow interaction between the viewer (user) and the network options/ functions of the device. For example the X Box controller “is now the player”, scanned hundreds of times per second for every move which is then translated into the game. The TV camera is being touted as having the ability to gauge what demographic the viewer falls into and then showing targeted advertisements to them, a kind of personalized TV version of Google ads.
The problem is that all of these camera devices are hard wired into the TV/ games console etc. and also into the internet via broadband/ wireless or cable. This gives access to the camera to anyone with the technical knowhow, namely Microsoft, The governments of the UK and US and TV manufacturers (not to mention the technologically gifted pervert). All are able to dial in and watch you watching the TV, using you laptop/ Tablet or even just walking around your house with the X Box on standby. This draws a parallel with the TV sets described in Orwell's' novel “1984” in which the narrative describes the TV set having a camera which captured all that went on in the room, you could be being watched at any one time, or never or in the worst case, all the time.
Those among the readership of this article may think to themselves that if they are not doing anything wrong then they have nothing to fear, however, there are further things to consider.
For many years the US and UK governments have denied spying on their own citizens whilst doing exactly that. The US "Prism" operatives have been able to eavesdrop on e-mails and telephone conversations for many years. All denied by the US government of course. They have used advanced processors, and programming to sift through you information and build up a profile of you from your communications and web habits. They have even used the Microsoft error reporting service to invade computers. Why would they do that?
They have sponsored research in faster broadband, wireless and mobile technologies, keeping the best tech for themselves of course, pushing for greater data transfer rates and GPS positioning in mobile devices. Why would they do that?
They have pushed for HD TV's capable of delivering refresh rates hundreds of times faster than hat the conscious human eye and brain can even notice. Why would they do that?
The answer to the latter question is that by increasing the amount of information the TV screen can display, via faster refresh rates, means that information can flash faster than the human brain can possibly ever consciously decipher. However, with the ability to send covertly encrypted information via light waves to your mind via this HD technology, the "powers that be" can manipulate your buying habits, your opinions, mood and personality. It is well documented that if children stop watching TV for an extended period of time, their personalities change. This is also the case for adults and with the ability of the internet and the HD screen, it can be personalized to make you into the person "they" want you to be. This is all possible due to the capability to transmit modulated electromagnetic waves from the screen. These can be in the visible spectrum or indeed outside of the visible spectrum; they could be radio waves or even ultra violet or microwaves. All can be modulated to transfer information to a receiver. This can be a tech device or even the human brain if the wavelengths and modulation are correct. In a previous post I applauded the benefits of binaural frequencies in allowing less trained minds into differing states of consciousness, however the same research into brain wave activity and wave patterns can be used to tune the latest tech to interact with our brains without us ever knowing. This is also without considering the "breakthroughs" which were announced in the last year where brain activity can now be read by computer and translated into what the subject is thinking. It does not take a great leap from that to the Thought Police State enforced by your own TV which judges and corrects your thoughts.
The profile made up of the information from your conversations, e mails and web habits can be used to judge who and what you are. The signals you receive from the signals on your favorite TV program that you watch every day will then "correct" you to being the perfect shopper, the type of citizen they want you to be. This could be the shopaholic or the next Sandy Hook shooter. Let’s face it our governments have been proven to cause problems and disasters so they can bring in new laws to forward their agendas.
It is a scary scenario, an extension of subliminal advertising used in the 1970s moved on to the next century. What about the Mobile phones?
They are a step towards the micro chipped population. Everyone who carries a Mobile phone is carrying a GPS tracker with a unique address code registered to that person. The mobile phone companies can pinpoint where you are at any given time and this technology has been reported in mainstream media to have been used to locate villains and victims of various crimes and natural disasters. The ability of the smartphone to carry out transactions also leads towards the cashless society where if the network fails you have no way of paying for food. You will not be able to sell your belongings for cash and spend it, the government will want its cut in tax dollars. Also if you do not pay the rising cost of your phone bill to the corporate elite then your phone will be cut off and you will starve (another stealth “buying” tax on top of VAT). We have already seen the problems of cybercrime and network outages that have meant whole towns have been without internet access for days and the cash machines, pay points etc. have been unable to carry out transactions. It was a good job there was cash around otherwise there would have been riots. And if there are riots then there must be a more robust policing system and more cameras and surveillance, It just leads on to less freedom, less privacy and a more invasive Police State.
Some would argue that the investment in better broadband, cable and mobile communications is happening as a benefit to society, a humanist triumph of ingenuity over the limitations of the physical world. Unfortunately our leaders and corporate elite are using the technology that is being created for control putting us all into a technological prison to squeeze more money out of the masses and to further develop a deskilled and suppressed workforce of slaves with all food stuff controlled by the state, corporate and banking elite. It will be the water and air we have to pay for next... oh, we already have to pay for water………
Beware of technology that is sold to you as the next great thing when there is no real demand for it. None of us ever wanted camaras in the TV, so why are they now on the market.
