The issue with these doctrines is that anyone who believes them feels a compulsion to immediately attack anyone who questions their beliefs, and in that way, a belief can go unchallenged and grow or mutate. The leaders or founders of these beliefs can then hide behind their followers who defend the belief and anyone involved. The use of victim status is used to protect the group from attack from the state, for example Jewish political groups are constantly reminding the world of the atrocities in Nazi Germany and label anyone who questions the Jewish fraternity as a Nazi, something everyone wants to avoid. Black and Gay groups also using historic slavery and oppression as a tool which offensively labels people as racist or bigoted, all to oppress free speech so that their agendas can be unchallenged no matter how extreme, bigoted, inaccurate or foolhardy there efforts might be. They truth is that many white people were also slaves so why should their descendants be made to feel guilty? Most people are not Nazis so why should someone feel that they cannot say what they see when they do not believe in such ideologies.
One of the groups which have used the duplicity of aggression, and victim culture has been the Feminist Movement. Whilst pushing for women to have equality with men they have created issues within society that will take a monumental effort to mend. (Cue the army of clones attacking the website before they have read the rest of the article - ED)
The rights of women to be equal to men in western society is one that I wholeheartedly applaud and support. I also support the right of every human being to be equal with every other human being whether they are male or female, short or tall or whatever color their hair, eyes or skin may be. Rights are for everyone, but rights should not be at the detriment to everyone else.
Many feminists will argue that the salaries of women are, on average, lower than male counterparts a view that is supported by government statistics. However many women will work part time, or will have less well paid jobs due to caring responsibilities.
We have seen this week that the BBC in England has been paying it's male starts more than female ones, but that is because they are more popular or are able to bring in larger audiences or have been with the corporation longer
Women who have the same jobs but are paid less over their lifetimes get the same pay for the same amount of work. Women who choose to raise children or look after older relatives rather than putting children in nursery or older people into care homes will have taken a break from working, hence less money. It is in the female nature to be caring, to have a higher "emotional intelligence" this is not a stereotype, it is a part of the female design as is the ability to give birth. These women all have the right to choose to work or not, to study or not, to have a family or not. In that way they have more choice than their male counterparts who have to rely on the choice of the female as to whether they can have a family with them.
Another miss-educated view is that women are more greatly affected by abuse than men. This view is changing in society as a whole but the media have played their part in reinforcing the stereotype of the abusive male whilst completely under reporting the abuse the males receive daily. Abuse comes in many forms from emotional abuse, social control, financial abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse and also life control (the reduction of choice). The headline grabbers are the physical and sexual abuse which the media seemingly love to report as this sells newspapers and gets higher viewing figures. These more conspicuous forms of abuse are statistically, reported more often from females than males, however these are reported figures and males are much less likely to go to the police and report being "beat up by a girl". Gender stereotyping has left an abused male as a subject of ridicule. It is recognized that the forms of abuse from males to females mainly physical in nature there is also manipulation. Manipulation, financial abuse, social exclusion and emotional control are all hallmarks of female to male abuse which leaves long term emotional scars which last much longer than bruises. With the average size of the female being less than that of the male there is limited scope for the use of forced physical abuse. If all things are considered, abuse from both sides of the gender divide is approximately equal which is a sad indictment on the state of our society as a whole.
Many feminists are of the view that women should be able to wear what they want when they want without fear of repercussions, wolf whistles and abuse. On the whole this is a reasonable view, many offices for example have a policy of "business attire" meaning that men are forced to wear smart pants, shirt and tie or a suit whereas women are allowed anything so long as it is smart. If a male boss asks women to "smarten up" he is at risk of being labelled sexist misogynistic, or a pervert. Again the rules are bent n favour of females, there are exceptions but it usually results in news stories and law suits.
The view that ours is a patriarchal society where men are in the highest positions and "look after the females" at the detriment of females is a massively inaccurate one. Firstly the western society is split between a patriarchal legal and moral structure where males have responsibility to protect and a matriarchal social structure which enforces the caring aspects of our society. In that respect it is very much like many other societies. However the western society on the whole is geared towards an advantageous position for females. There is less expectation to become successful, more room for failure and redemption and more scope for choice. Men are expected to fight to protect, to succeed, to provide, to die if necessary for the advantage of the rest. That is why suicides are so much higher in the male section of society, lack of an escape route from unrealistic expectation whilst battling media enforced stereotypes of the "dumb male".
Whilst women of the western world have unprecedented rights and choice, society it has seemingly lost it's grasp of responsibilities and that is where the damage has been done. The massive misandry of female activists in the media, the man hating jokes, the hurtful images of "thick men", the stereotype of "Homer Simpson" style characters, the hate fuelled ranting against male partners online and anti male advertising are taking there toll on young males. All of these practices are banned, some with jail sentences attached, if a male creates "hate" but society has forgotten that rights apply to all, and it is the responsibility of all to protect all. Many males are retreating into cyberspace, staying single and living with mom and dad rather than take on the new generation of legally bulletproof females. A group of females is a group unless they commit a crime, a male group is called a gang and are dispersed by police.
There is a fear in many male groups that they are at the mercy of chance if they interact with any female. The threat of being accused of rape is probably a massive passion killer, and a life destroying thing to have on your record (you know the one any future employer gets off you before you are recruited) no wonder young males would rather play minecraft. Of course the more hard line feminist may say that it is good that men are afraid, to think like that shows a blatant hatred of half of the human population and makes them as bad as any anti-semite, racist or homophobe. The problem is that if men are cautious of women, cautious of having opinions, being divorced and ruined for life, or accused of rape then men are now in a similar position to women a hundred years ago and that is not progress.
The rights of females to be able to do what they want when they want is liberating but leaves children badly cared for, in nurseries or care environments staffed by badly educated and barely qualified, minimum wage paid teenagers who only entered the care profession because of their own terrible upbringing. Abuse is rife in these establishments as is the lack of suitable boundaries and education. The lack of love from a parent is the most emotionally damaging event a child can endure, leading to drug use, alcohol abuse and relationship issues. This leads to further generations of feral children and teenagers.
The "latch key kids" of the 70s and eighties, created when it became the 'done thing' for mothers to go to work en masse, are now the emotionally damaged parents and grandparents who have abusive, badly educated clone children who are so easily brainwashed by the media. Their lives are so beset with underlying emotional issues that only the comfort of acquiring the latest shoes, gadget, must have thing, will appease their hunger for acceptance, a hunger that should have been dealt with by the absent parent who was too busy 'making a difference. The biggest difference you can make is to bring the next generation of children up to a better standard then the one before. Children are our legacy, and the females who are over indulged with treats at weekends because they were emotionally starved all week grow up to be entitled evil self obsessed women who perpetuate the cloned females obsessed with buying things with a belief that they are superior. No wonder the males lock themselves in fantasy worlds online and girls hang around in groups trying to be 'top bitch'.
The breakdown of the family unit, with males getting kicked out by "independent women" because they disagreed with their lifestyle choices, and some women being obsessed with the "I don't need a man" mentality conjoined with greater use of drugs and alcohol by disenfranchised males will lead to an ever more dystopian future. For the first part a woman might not need a man, she has two arms and two legs and can do all the things she needs, absolutely right when she is on her own. But when a child is introduced then the Child needs the male presence or a Ying and Yang partnership to give a balanced personality. In the second part, the feral teens without parental guidance spill onto the streets and have to be dealt with by the state, which is a great excuse to take away their freedoms.... or is that the whole point?
Good Journey
